HomeNewsReport: Denver housing market ends 2012 on strong note

Denver’s housing market ended on a strong note, according to Metrolist.  Buyer demand combined with historically low inventory levels helped buoy average and median sale prices across metro Denver.  Kirby Slunaker, Metrolist president, said the close of 2012 saw an “impressive” double-digit growth in home sales – up 18% from 2011.  In 2011, 39,387 homes were sold with 46,299 being sold in 2012.  The average selling price in 2011 was $255,492, while the average selling price in 2012 was $279,601.
